Energy Corse on the most important international podiums

Throughout this intense 2021 season, the Energy Corse team has been particularly competitive as recent prestigious international events can attest: a masterful victory in the Rok Cup Superfinal in Mini with the Canadian Jensen Burnett and a podium in OK-Junior during the Champions of the Future series with Tomass Stolcermanis. Stolcermanis also had the honour starting on the front row of the World Championship in his Energy Corse-TM Racing package. A magnificent top five finish rewarded the young Latvian and the know-how of the Italian team. More than ever, Energy Corse offers an ideal and effective sporting framework for a young and ambitious driver. World triumph in Lonato Every year, the best drivers in the Rok Challenge from all over the world come to compete in an “International Superfinal”. From 13th to 16th October at South Garda Karting in Lonato, Italy, this event brought together several categories, the most difficult being the Mini Rok with its 103 registered drivers. The Final was very competitive and was decided by small technical details that the Energy Corse team mastered to perfection with its driver Jensen Burnett. The Canadian was majestic and was crowned with panache. The British driver Alfie Slater confirmed the efficiency of the Italian team’s equipment by coming back from 15th to 5th place with the fastest lap in the race. Just behind him, the Russian Matvey Dergunov (+11 places) placed a third chassis in the top six with the Revolution Motorsport team! Congratulations to Lorenzo Campos and Deonarine Mayer who took a double Energy Corse win in the Vortex Trophy in Mini Rok. In Junior Rok, Tomass Stolcermanis was fighting for the podium in the Final before retiring. Lithuanian Adreja Vibriantyte took a fine 5th place in the Super Rok, while Canadian Josh Conquer jumped 10 places to complete the top 10 in Shifter Rok. Stolcermanis on the podium in Campillos The Champions of the Future series concluded in Campillos on 24th October. It was a great opportunity for the drivers and teams to prepare for the World Championship a week later. In OK-Junior, Tomass Stolcermanis was particularly competitive in the Energy Corse team. 2nd in Timed Practice, 3rd after the heats and in the Prefinal, he climbed to the third step of the podium after a great attacking race. Energy Corse leader during the World Championship Tomass Stolcermanis continued his success in Spain, again being one of the best in the world in OK-Junior. The winner of two heats with three fastest laps in the race, he was on the front row for the Final, which in the end ran on rain tyres. In these difficult conditions, Tomass took a convincing 5th place in his first FIA Karting World Championship. Less well qualified, the Japanese driver Schu Dozono nevertheless created a surprise by making spectacular comebacks in each of his heats, showing great speed in the dry, going from 69th place in Timed Qualifying to 25th on the starting grid of the Final. He even got into the top 10 in the rain in the Final… before retiring on the last lap! Congratulations also to the OK drivers from the Energy Corse team who fought with determination: the Finnish driver Rasmus Joutsimies, as well as the Lithuanians Adreja Vibriantyte and Jokubas Bagdonavicius. The final word goes to Mick Panigada, team manager of the Energy Corse team: “We have had some intense emotions in the last few weeks. It was a great moment to see Jensen Burnett cross the finish line of the Rok Cup Superfinal as a winner and Tomass Stolcermanis leading the first five laps of the World Championship Final. In the dry, I think he had every chance of winning. His fastest laps in the heats prove it. At the end of the season and in 2022, Energy Corse will continue to support drivers who want to reach the top in this way. Our team remains one of the best at allowing the youngest drivers to blossom in the best conditions. I congratulate our drivers, the entire technical staff and our engine

Brilliant performances and a top three at the Euuropean Championship

From 60 Mini to KZ2, you can always count on the Energy Corse team in the major international events! The young Latvian Tomass Stolcermanis demonstrated this during the second round of the FIA Karting European Championship by finishing 3rd in the OK-Junior category. His Russian team-mate Tigran Bunatyan was also at the forefront in France on the Aunay les Bois circuit. Proof that the Energy Corse-TM Racing teams will be a force to be reckoned with throughout the 2021 season. With 82 entries, the OK-Junior category still offered a real technical and human challenge in the north-east of France. “At Energy Corse, we have had one of the most experienced and competent teams in Europe for many years. Luigina Guerrini does an incredible job on the technical side,” said Mick Panigada, head of the famous Italian team. “We have often come to France to the circuit of Aunay les Bois and we have taken many podiums there. I am delighted that this was the case again this time, it shows once again the competitiveness of our chassis and our engine manufacturer GFR.” Stolcermanis racing with the best in OK-Junior The meeting started with Tomass Stolcermanis setting the 2nd fastest time in Qualifying, while Tigran Bunatyan took a promising 14th place. Both drivers then had very good runs in the Qualifying Heats. On Saturday afternoon, the Latvian and the Russian crossed the finish line in 1st and 2nd positions in one of the heats! This intense emotion for the Energy Corse team continued, especially during the Final. “We adapted the equipment perfectly to the characteristics of the MG tyres and the Aunay les Bois circuit. The performance was clearly there,” admitted the Energy Corse team manager. “It’s a pity that Tigran Bunatyan was penalised in one heat because of his spoiler, and that he had a small incident in the Final, because he deserved better than 22nd place. As for Tomass Stolcermanis, he was impressive, finishing 3rd on Sunday afternoon after starting in 6th position.” Spanish driver Jose Antonio Gomez Gutierrez and Dutch driver Nathan Schaap were also racing, in the OK class. Schaap, who finished in the top 10 of the WSK Euro Series at Lonato in April in the OK-Junior class, is still discovering his new category and is keen to improve. These significant results in the European Championship come on top of the early season results in the other categories. For example in 60 Mini with the Canadian Jensen Burnett or with the Briton Alfie Slater. In the top 10 in the WSK Super Master Series in March in Sarno, Alfie also led the heats out of a total of 90 drivers. In KZ2, Lithuanian Kajus Siksnelis made a promising debut in his new category alongside his Dutch teammates Joey Van Splunteren and Martijn Van Leeuwen, who will be worth watching in the next races. Finally, the Energy Corse colours shone in the Italian Championship, with the podium in the 60 Mini class in May at Val Vibrata with Giacomo Giusto (Revolution Motor Sport team) finishing 1st. Congratulations to all the drivers who have shown their worth since the beginning of the 2021 season with Energy Corse chassis all over the

A high quality lineup for Energy Corse in 2021

A benchmark competition team on the international scene for more than two decades, Energy Corse is getting ready to start this new season in the best possible circumstances. No less than 14 drivers have already been announced and will race under the famous colours of the team led by Mick Panigada. With its recognised knowledge, its equipment at the cutting edge of technology, its experienced technicians, its partnerships with the best engine tuners in the paddock and its ever-increasing prize list year after year, the Energy Corse team is determined to set its sights on the podium in 2021. “As we do every winter, we have prepared for the new season perfectly,” admits Mick Panigada. “The development of the equipment has been validated during the numerous tests we have recently carried out. The performance is clearly there and we are optimistic about our ability to enable our drivers to progress in the best conditions.” Energy Corse is one of the teams in the international paddock to attach great importance to the human factor. More victories in sight in 60 MiniEnergy Corse has won numerous titles in the various “Mini” categories in recent seasons, such as the overall victory for the Russian Dmitry Matveev at the 2020 WSK Super Master Series in 60 Mini. This time, the Italian team will count on Jensen Burnett, Hugo Martiniello, Joel Pohjola, Alfie Slater and Sasha Van’t Pad Bosch. All of them have already made a name for themselves since their debut. Slater finished 2nd in the IAME International Final in 2019 and Martiniello has won many races on French soil. Van’t Pad Bosch finished 2nd in the IAME Euro Series in 2020, Pohjola recently distinguished himself at the IAME International Games, while Burnett made a good progress at the last Rok Cup Superfinal. OK-Junior: Potential to be developedAs in 60 Mini, the Energy Corse squad in OK-Junior will be made up of drivers of different nationalities, with Dutch, Lithuanian, Russian and British representatives. All of them will start with great motivation, the desire to gain maximum experience and the will to progress rapidly towards the top. This will be the case for the promising quartet of Nathan Schaap, Sirvydas Šimkus, Yaroslav Trukhin and Brandon Carr, winner of the Florida Winter Cup in 2017, 7th in the IAME International Final 2019, 4th in the 2019 British Championship and coached by Ben Barnicoat. OK: A leader and an outsiderAlexander Dunne is far from a stranger in the international paddock. The Irishman has often made a name for himself at the wheel of his Energy Corse-TM Racing machine during his first season in OK in 2020. He intends to use this season to consolidate and has decided to reiterate his confidence in the Italian team. He will team up with the Lithuanian Jok?bas Bagdonavi?ius, whose progress will be interesting to follow. A trio of shock in KZ2Titled European Champion in this category on several occasions since the beginning of the 2000s and already winner of the International Supercup, the Energy Corse team intends to continue its podium harvest in KZ2. It will be able to rely on both proven equipment and very fast drivers. With a great experience in brand cups, Dutchman Joey Van Splunteren climbed the ladder in 2020 for his first year in KZ2, already with Energy Corse. He is joined by his compatriot Martijn Van Leeuwen, well known for his performances in Junior, OK and KZ2 a few seasons ago. They will serve as a reference for two youngsters moving up from OK: the Lithuanian Kajus Siksnelis, winner of the FIA Karting Academy Trophy in 2019, and the Russian Maksim Soldatov, a finalist in the 2019 World Championship. 2021 Energy Corse lineup – 60 MiniJensen Burnett, CanadaHugo Martiniello, FranceJoel Pohjola, FinlandAlfie Slater, United KingdomSasha Van’t Pad Bosch, Holland – OKJBrandon Carr, United KingdomNathan Schaap, HollandSirvydas Šimkus, LithuaniaYaroslav Trukhin, Russia – OKJok?bas Bagdonavi?ius, LithuaniaAlexander Dunne, Ireland – KZ2Kajus Siksnelis, LithuaniaMaksim Soldatov, RussiaMartijn Van Leeuwen, HollandJoey Van Splunteren,

A new title in 60 Mini and performances at the World Championship

A benchmark team in the international karting paddock, Energy Corse has not failed to put its drivers on the way to the podium in recent weeks. After his title in the WSK Super Master Series, Russian Dmitry Matveev won the first edition of the Champions of the Future series in 60 Mini. And at the OK-Junior World Championship in Portimao, Japan’s Schu Dozono was a revelation in the colours of the Italian team. Once again, the experience and know-how of the technical staff played a big role in these successes. Energy Corse remains one of the most formative teams in the paddock. The team constantly pays special attention to all its drivers, to put them in the best possible position to aim for the top. Racing in the main international events, the team managed by Mick Panigada has taken up many challenges in 2020 and is preparing to do the same in 2021… Constant results in 60 Mini Usually a protagonist in the Rok Cup Superfinal, the Energy Corse team placed two drivers in the top five on the Franciacorta circuit. Russian Dmitry Matveev led the Final for several laps and was the fastest of the leaders, before losing some places in intense duels. He finished 5th just behind Salim Hanna Hernandez, supported by Juan-Pablo Montoya. The Colombian driver made good progress after starting in 10th position. Three other drivers from the Energy Corse team qualified for the Final: the Canadian Jensen Burnett, the Peruvian Andres Cardenas (an excellent 4th in his group after the heats) and the British driver Alfie Slater, who won one of the heats! As for the Thai driver Enzo Tarnvanichkul, he took the Singha Trophy. In the 60 Mini category with many drivers, the Russian Dmitry Matveev had won in Zuera at the end of July, giving him the title in the Champions of the Future series organised by RGMMC. Top 12 in the world for Schu Dozono Schu Dozono, who was still unknown on the international scene a few months ago, has made a name for himself in Portimao in OK-Junior. The Japanese driver took advantage of the Champions of the Future series event to step up his performance, before confirming his place in the World Championship. In the Final, he made a magnificent comeback from 35th to 12th position in difficult conditions. That’s a gain of 23 places for his fourth race in Juniors! Alex Dunne joined the Energy Corse team just before the Champions of the Future series race. The Irishman immediately climbed into the top 10 in the Timed Practice and the OK Qualifying Heats. Unfortunately, he had to drop out in the Final. Dunne was still very competitive in the World Championship (twice in the top six in the heats). But once again, the Final was unlucky for him. A month earlier in Lonato, Energy Corse was also aiming for a good result in the International Super Cup for KZ2. On the podium the previous season with the Swedish European Champion Emil Skaras, this time the Italian team placed the Dutchman Joey Splunteren and the Swede Alexander Dahlberg in the top 10 of the Qualifying Heats, in a category with 99 entries. Due to racing incidents, they were not able to take the chequered flag! But there is no doubt that Energy Corse can be counted on in the final 2020 events and, of course, in 2021

A victory and a title to celebrate the return to competition

Energy Power is proving to be as formidable as ever, even after a long pause caused by the Coronavirus crisis. The resumption of international competitions was a new opportunity for Energy Corse to show its knowledge, professionalism and its level of results. At the end of a particularly well-rewarded meeting, the Russian Dmitry Matveev won the WSK Super Master Series title in 60 Mini, after having crossed the finish in 1st place in the Final on Saturday and 2nd in the Final on Sunday. “After the exceptional health crisis we are going through, it was important that we could get back to the atmosphere of racing. As the organisation of the Formula 1 Austrian Grand Prix shows, top-level motor sports are back and this is a real breath of fresh air for everyone,” said Mick Panigada, the head of the Energy Corse team. “I congratulate the organisers for having done everything possible to ensure that this double competition can take place in the best possible infection control conditions. I’m already looking forward to the next meeting, hoping to see drivers who couldn’t come to Adria and hopefully other competitors who want to find out more about our team, which is constantly looking for success.” Matveev in Olympic form in Adria On Sunday 5th July 2020, a new title was added to the Energy Corse team’s already impressive list of achievements! The Russian driver Dmitry Matveev was undoubtedly the best performer of the meeting in the 60 Mini category at the wheel of his Energy Corse-TM. The leader during the first part of the heats, he was a bit disappointed to be only 68 thousandths ahead in the Prefinal. But in the Final, the young Russian showed his sense of attack and the performance of his equipment to brilliantly win on Saturday. The last round of this WSK Super Master Series saw him take pole position, then win three out of four heats. Once again 2nd in his Prefinal, he logically took part in the fight for victory in the Final. With a view to the Championship, he secured a magnificent 2nd position, to finish his race with 349 points, 83 more than his closest rival! Dmitry Matveev had already climbed on the 3rd step of the podium in Lonato at the end of February, before the start of the pandemic. Several top 10s for the Energy Corse brand In this 60 Mini class, with 63 drivers registered in the north-east of Italy, the excellent overall results of the Energy chassis must be underlined. Antonio Apicella finished 4th in Saturday’s Final. Francesco Amendola made a strong comeback to 6th in the Prefinal A on Sunday, while Marcus Saeter (Revolution Motorsport) equalled this performance in the Prefinal B. The Norwegian then moved up to 8th place in the Final, just behind Apicella. In the other categories, Robert De Haan (OK) were not as successful. More podiums in Estonia The DHR Estonia team was pleased with the brilliant results in the Estonian Championship, thanking the drivers for their performances, the technical staff for the great work done and the Energy Corse brand for the competitiveness of its equipment. After the second round, Theodor Toobal was in 1st place in Micro in front of Meryl Peldes, Andri Tsikin was the leader in Mini, as well as Ruben Volt in OK-Junior, a category in which Mark Dubnitski was 4th in front of Carmen Kraav. DHR Estonia is also 1st in the team ranking! This second round of the Estonian Championship also saw Kaspar Kallasmas’ success in KZ2 as well as Jako Sammo in Cadet, both naturally at the wheel of the Energy Corse

Energy Corse: A strong team already on the podium in 2020

After a 2019 filled with many victories, the official Energy Corse team lined up a group of nine very promising young drivers at the WSK Champions Cup in Adria, which marked the opening of the 2020 international season for the OK, OK-Junior and 60 Mini categories. In the wet as well as in the dry, Energy Corse undeniably put itself in the spotlight during the three days of racing. A new recruit for 2020, the Russian Kirill Smal impressed on his debut with the Italian team, rising to 2nd in the Final in OK! Reading the list of WSK Champions Cup entrants revealed a strong vote in favour of Energy Corse, which was the fourth best-represented chassis at Adria, ahead of several other major brands. Thanks to rigorous winter preparation, the team led by Mick Panigada showed a high level of performance from the very start, with the support of its skilled technical team, the TM Racing brand and its expert engine tuners. Smal vice-Champion in OK The American Enzo Scionti, along with Russians Maksim Soldatov and Kirill Smal, formed a formidable squad in this particularly difficult category. The latter two were in the top 10 in the Timed Qualifying session. Smal was unlucky in one heat, but managed to win afterwards and confirmed it with a magnificent Final phase. Kirill Smal came back to 8th position on the grid for the Final, but he kept on gaining positions to finally climb to the second step of the podium! Locked in the middle of the pack, Maksim Soldatov experienced a more difficult Final and could only save 18th place. Still a Junior in 2019, the young Russian has good progress ahead of him. OK-Junior: De Haan on the pace As was already the case last year with the Energy Corse team, Robert De Haan was particularly competitive. He had a superb run in the heats with 4th, 1st, 4th and 7th positions. Alas, the Dutchman was penalised for his spoiler in the Prefinal and dropped out in the Final after only four laps after moving up from 16th to 7th place! As for the young Alex Powell, he could congratulate himself for having made it to the Finals. The Jamaican had just started his strong progress when a racing incident forced him to retire. Leonardo Megna, with his Energy chassis from the ASD Revolution Motorsport team, finished 23rd. 60 Mini: Dmitry Matveev close to the podium With the four Russians, Dmitry Matveev, Yaroslav Trukhin, German Foteev and Kirill Dzitiev, the Energy Corse team looked good in Mini. After Qualifying, the numerous Qualifying Heats and the particularly hard-fought Prefinals, these four drivers achieved a great feat when they all won their tickets for the Final in this category with 75 entries. Winner of his Prefinal in front of his team-mate Foteev, Matveev unfortunately got locked up at the start of the Final. He managed to regain places afterwards, but could do no better than 4th. Dzitiev finished 12th after a gain of four places. Foteev, who finished 8th under the chequered flag, was penalised for a dropped spoiler and dropped back to 18th position in front of another Energy chassis, that of the Estonian Mark Dubnitski (Dan Holland Racing team). Trukhin was forced to retire when he was 8th on the first lap. The Norwegian Marcus Saeter (ASD Revolution Motorsport) moved up from 28th to 10th place. Another successful year for Energy Corse

From victory at the Winter Cup at the beginning of the season to successes in the WSK throughout the year, including a new European Championship, the Energy Corse brand and its official team completed a series of victorious meetings at the international level in 2019. All these trophies won by the drivers in the Energy Corse colours are the result of meticulous work to offer competitive equipment to the drivers, recognised technical knowledge and high quality racing team staff. A splendid season in Mini The Energy Corse chassis was omnipresent at the front in 60 Mini, Mini Rok, Rotax Mini Max and X30 Mini. 2019 started with a double at the Winter Cup for the Jamaican Alex Powell and the Russian Kirill Kutskov. Powell then went on to collect podiums: 3rd in the WSK Super Master Series with a victory at La Conca, 3rd in the Italian Championship with four podiums including two victories, winner of the International Rok Cup Final in front of his Russian team-mate Dmitry Matveev and 3rd in the WSK Euro Series at Adria. In addition, Kutskov won both races of the Italian Championship at Adria, while Dmitriy Matveev finished the WSK Euro Series with a win. Matveev was a big success at the end of the season: 2nd in the WSK Open Cup after a victory at Castelletto and the title in the WSK Final Cup at Adria. Many other drivers have had the opportunity to shine with the Energy chassis, which remains a benchmark in Mini, as well as in Micro. For example there was a brilliant victory for the American Kai Johnson in Micro Rok during the prestigious Rok the Rio event in Las Vegas in the USA.   European KZ2 Champion with Emil Skaras! 2019 was definitely a season to remember for Energy Corse. Since the early 2000s, Energy has been the most successful brand in the KZ2 category in CIK-FIA races with seven European Champion titles! This new title is thanks to Emil Skaras, who has become a potential winner since he joined the Energy Corse team. At Wackersdorf in Germany, the Swede led the Final from start to finish and definitively claimed the European Championship at the Sarno circuit. 2019 has been his best season in karting, as he also finished 3rd in the International Super Cup at Lonato, coming very close to victory. De Haan a revelation in OK-Junior with Energy Winner of the Rotax Grand Finals in 2018, Robert De Haan chose the Energy Corse team for his debut in the main OK-Junior Championships. The young Dutchman started his season with three consecutive podium finishes in the WSK Super Master Series in Adria, the French Championship at Angerville and then the WSK Euro Series at Angerville. De Haan was outstanding in the German Championship (DKM), where he dominated the season: 2nd and 1st at Lonato, twice 1st at Wackersdorf, twice 1st at Kerpen, twice 2nd at Genk, 3rd and 1st in Ampfing. It is therefore a particularly well-deserved title! In FIA Karting races, he finished 4th in the European Championship in Belgium and a remarkable 7th place at the World Championship in Finland after a gain of 10 places. On that day, the Finn Rasmus Joutsimies shone in OK by finishing the heats in 5th position. Unfortunately, success was not on his side in the Final. In addition to OK-Junior, Robert De Haan made a magnificent comeback to finish in 2nd place at the IAME International Final at Le Mans in the X30 Junior class, before finishing 4th at the Supernationals in Las Vegas in the same category. “Energy Corse would like to congratulate all the drivers who defended our colours in 2019, as well as all our distributors, engine manufacturers and technicians, not to mention the TM Racing factory,” said manager Mick Panigada. “Our brand has won many events all over the world. I think we gave Energy to all our drivers during the season! I look forward to seeing you in 2020, with a team that again plans to be at the forefront of the battle in all international categories. Energy Corse continues its presence at the major international events

From Lonato to Le Mans, the Energy Corse brand has gained victories and podiums in particularly difficult and challenging events. Indeed, both the Rok Cup Superfinal and the IAME International Final each brought together entries of more than 400 drivers! This did not prevent the Energy Corse team from achieving the double in Mini Rok with Alex Powell and Dmitry Matveev in Italy or from taking a magnificent 2nd place in X30 Junior in France with Robert De Haan, also awarded the German Championship in OK-Junior a few days earlier.  The Energy Corse team and the Italian manufacturer of the same name have once again proved that they are worth relying on. Within 10 days, they were able to guarantee a very high level of performance for drivers wearing the famous red, white and blue suit. At the Rok Cup Superfinal in Lonato, Energy Corse was the second best represented brand in Mini Rok, a strong category with 130 competitors! And in the end, there were four chassis in the top seven with, on the podium, the top two places for Alex Powell and Dmitry Matveev. Double in Mini Rok Well advised by the Italian team staff, the Jamaican and the Russian made impeccable runs in the Qualifying Heats. With their particularly fast equipment in the Final, they both competed in the battle for victory and finally Powell triumphed with a small gap of 3 tenths over Matveev. Italy’s Francesco Marenghi (ASD Revolution Motorsport team) and Russia’s Kirill Kutskov completed this magnificent group result for Energy Corse. Chinese driver Rui Zhen, Norwegian driver Marcus Saeter (ASD Revolution Motorsport team) and the Russian Vladimir Verkholantsev also demonstrated superb potential. In addition, a driver from the Energy Corse team won the Singha Trophy, in the person of the young Australian Jesse Lacey. The Polish driver Piotr Czaja (Vkart Racing Team) ensured the double for the Energy chassis in this trophy. What a race for De Haan! Robert De Haan has definitely had an incredible season in Junior with Energy Corse. He was noticed at the World, European and French Championships and became German Champion in OK-Junior with his TM Racing engine, finishing his season with a victory at Ampfing. In general, he will have collected the winner’s points six times out of 10 and was 2nd four times! A few days later, the promising Dutchman went to Le Mans for the IAME International Final. Very competitive in both dry and rainy conditions, De Haan climbed to 4th in the Prefinal, before fighting for victory in the Final. After intense and incessant duels, he saw the chequered flag in 2nd place. “It’s a shame that the leader managed to take a small lead, because I had the performance to win, but it’s still a great result for me knowing that there were 108 at the start,” admitted Robert. A double for the Australian Flack Currently 2nd in the IAME Series Benelux after his success in Genk, young driver Clément Outran has been very visible in X30 Mini. Starting 9th, the Frenchman gained two places during the Final, but had to be satisfied with 12th place after a spoiler penalty. Finally, there was a hat-trick for the Australian Marcos Flack, who competed in both the Lonato and Le Mans events. While he shone in Junior Rok, the changing weather conditions did not help him in X30 Junior. “I would like to congratulate all the drivers and teams who participated in this magnificent overall result of the Energy Corse brand,” concluded Mick Panigada, head of Energy Corse. “For us, the success is definitely there this season and the objective is to stay on this dynamic during the last races of 2019. Drivers wishing to join us will be able to take advantage of these races to test within our official team, particularly in the Mini, Junior, OK and KZ2

Another world podium for Energy Corse!

Sweden’s Emil Skaras and the Energy Corse team have confirmed their European KZ2 Championship win by mounting the third step of the podium of the International Super Cup, a true World Cup in this difficult category, which again assembled a field of more than 120 drivers at the Lonato circuit. The entire Energy Corse-TM Racing team is more than ever a famous benchmark in high level international races. Skaras ignites the FinalIn the presence of the world’s best KZ2 drivers, all the manufacturers and teams were in the starting blocks on Lonato’s famous South Garda Karting circuit for the big event of the season. In these particularly competitive conditions, perfection was needed to hope to get on the podium and the Energy Corse team was in control of the situation thanks to the huge amount of work done. The performance of the equipment never faltered during this demanding meeting, the technical staff played their role admirably and Emil Skaras exploited this competitiveness perfectly. “It was an extremely difficult race,” admitted the Swedish driver. “After having achieved 3rd in Qualifying, my run in the heats was impeccable with three wins and three 2nd places! Starting on the front row in the Final, I knew that victory was possible. I also managed to take the lead and I hoped to win the Cup for Energy Corse, who have already won in the past. But the situation got tense in the next corner and I lost some places. I remained focused and managed to win my place on the third step of the podium. I would like to thank the Energy Corse team who provided me with a really effective chassis and Galiffa Tuning for its high performance TM Racing engines. European Champion and 3rd in this great world race is beautiful!“ Brilliantly qualified in the Final, his compatriot Isack Sjokvist unfortunately had to retire early in the race, while the Italian Moritz Ebner and Estonian Kaspar Kallasmaa gained a lot of experience at this meeting.   Results at all levelsIn previous weeks, the Energy Corse team also distinguished itself several times. At the FIA Karting World Championship at Alahärmä, the Finn Rasmus Joutsimies was one of the revelations of the OK category. He took a brilliant 5th place after the long marathon of Qualifying Heats, but an incident in the Final deprived him of an excellent result. In OK-Junior, Robert De Haan drove his Energy Corse-TM Racing to a 7th place finish after a remarkable gain of 10 places! In the Italian Championship, Jamaican Alex Powell took another podium in the last event at Val Vibrata and finished 3rd in 60 Mini. ASD Revolution drivers Francesco Marenghi from Italy and Norway’s Marcus Saeter fought at the forefront, with Saeter even winning in Race 2. “Training young drivers is a role we have always taken very seriously,” concluded Mick Panigada, the head of Energy Corse. “Our goal is to support them so that they can climb the ladder with competitiveness and a strong mind.“ The Italian brand also celebrates the successes and podiums achieved by Energy Corse distributors around the world. Congratulations to them
