Since its splendid podium finish in the OK World Championship, Energy Corse has put in a string of top-class performances. Winner of the Rok Superfinal, the Trofeo delle Industrie and the Italian Championship, the Italian brand also made it onto the podium in Las Vegas, the German Championship and the WSK Final Cup, where the team’s colours shone in Lonato and Cremona, notably with the Italian Niccolò Perico and the Estonian Mark Loomets. WSK Final Cup: Victory in Lonato for Loomets, Perico runner-up Energy Corse enjoyed a happy ending at the last round of the WSK Promotion season in Cremona, where the field was extremely large and the standard very high. Niccolò Perico, who led the Mini U10 Final for a long time, crashed out after a collision, losing his chances of winning the title. However, the points he collected in the two events enabled him to finish runner-up in front of his team-mate Mark Loomets. Winner in Lonato, Loomets made a magnificent comeback of 20 places to take 3rd place overall.Already in the top 20 in Lonato, Danila Verba ended his performance on a positive note with an 11-place comeback in Cremona. Platon Kovtunenko of the Borsch Racing team finished 4th in the Final and 8th in the overall standings, which included three Energy Corse chassis in the top eight. The WSK Final Cup saw the return of David Vidales, who had shone with Energy Corse in the Junior category some ten years ago. The Spaniard was back to his best. He was in the top 20 at Lonato, but lacked success at Cremona, where he showed great competitiveness. Energy Corse was also very competitive in OK-Junior at the WSK Final Cup. A few weeks after his brilliant 3rd place just ahead of team-mate Vladimir Ivannikov in the Trofeo delle Industrie, Lev Krutogolov was 4th at the start of the Final at Cremona, before being pushed off the track. This was a major disappointment, given that he had been building on his 8th place in Lonato. British driver Jacob Ashcroft, who was 20th on the grid for the Final, was full of hope before an incident on the first lap. The absolute fastest lap went to Ivannikov, a brilliant 10th at the chequered flag (finally 16th after a spoiler penalty). In the United Kingdom, the Energy Corse colours shone brightly on the World Championship podium. Consistently at the front of the field, whatever the conditions at the demanding PF International Karting Circuit, Matthew Higgins finished a magnificent 3rd in the tough OK class. This high-level result comes on the back of numerous other performances by the Energy Corse chassis and the Italian team in recent weeks, from Mini to Senior, as demonstrated by the double podium in the WSK Super Cup in Mini U10 at Franciacorta. Podium and best lap Once again, Energy Corse demonstrated its expertise and the quality of its technical staff. Always present at major events, the team led by Mick Panigada left England with a new world trophy under its belt. Winner of two heats, Matthew Higgins was very fast on the dry PFI track. In the Final, the weather turned to rain and the drivers set off on treaded tyres. The British driver got off to an excellent start and immediately found himself in the top three. He maintained a fast pace and crossed the finish line in 3rd position. Top six in OK-Junior and OK-N Energy Corse was just as competitive in OK-Junior. Ukrainian Lev Krutobolov and Great Britain’s Jacob Ashcroft (P6 in Qualifying) both won Qualifying Heats in dry conditions. In the Final, Krutobolov made a superb 19-place recovery to finish P6, while Ashcroft gained six places to finish P12. In OK-N, Energy Corse entered the South African Muhammad Wally, who proved competitive in the dry with the 4th fastest time in Qualifying and on the tricky track of the Final with a gain of 12 places to finish in 6th position. A brilliant winner of the Mini 60 U10 Final at Franciacorta, Italian Niccolo Perico is the new leader of the WSK Super Master Series. A Final race incident prevented his team-mate Mark Loomets from joining him on the podium. Energy Corse was also very competitive in OK-Junior, as Henry Domain showed by climbing back into the top six. Once again, the Franciacorta circuit in northern Italy was the venue for a meeting with an extremely high standard and a very large field (389 drivers entered). The WSK Super Master Series once again proved its worth, and the Energy Corse team left nothing to chance to support its drivers to the top and help them achieve their objectives. The result has been some excellent results for the Italian outfit, who have every intention of continuing their work with the aim of achieving further success in 2024… Niccolo Perico to fight for the title at Sarno Winner of the WSK Champions Cup in January, Niccolo Perico impressed by returning to 5th on the grid for the Final, despite having only set the 46th fastest time in Timed Practice when he was held up in traffic! Moreover, his fastest time in Saturday’s warm-up and his victory in the Super Heat confirmed his very high level of performance. The young and talented Italian continued his efforts in the Final and won brilliantly. Just as fast throughout the weekend, Estonian Mark Loomets was running in 3rd position on the final lap, when a race incident forced him to retire with much regret. All Energy Corse drivers qualify for the U10 Final  In addition to Perico, six other Energy Corse drivers reached the Final: Danil Verba P12, Platon Kovtunenko P15 (+9), Andrea Iannone P16 (+12), Jan Gardzielik P17, Hudson Petta P18 and Vsevolod Boronin P26. In the provisional series standings, Perrico is in 1st place with one race to go (Sarno at the beginning of March). Henry Domain in the top six in OK-Junior Coming from OK-Junior, Stepan Antonov continues to make great strides in OK, as demonstrated by his rise from 18th to 9th place in his Super Heat, which enabled him to secure his place in the Final despite a collision in one heat. In OK-Junior, the Energy Corse-TM Kart teams were able to count on some very promising young drivers. Already P8 in the two races held at Lonato at the start of the season, Great Britain’s Henry Domain further improved on those results with a 6th place in the Final. P4-P2-P3-P3-P3 in the heats, then P3 in the Super Heat, he finished his brilliant clear round in 6th position in the Final. Makar Savelev, Aloïs Girardet and Vladimir Ivannikov are also among the drivers who go from strength to strength at each meeting. They finished 21st, 22nd and 27th respectively after extremely encouraging heats, often in the top 10. Ivannikov even crossed the finish ahead of his two team-mates, before being demoted due to a penalty (spoiler). IAME podium in Lonato A few kilometres from Franciacorta, the Lonato circuit hosted the IAME Italy Open. In the X30 Junior class, Sweden’s Jonathan Landstrom set the fastest time in his group in Qualifying, before taking 3rd place on the podium with the AD Motorsport

With six drivers entered in OK-Junior and four in Mini U10, the Energy Corse line-up was in fine form for the first major international event of the season: the WSK Champions Cup, held from 19th to 21st January at the South Garda Karting circuit in Lonato. But quantity wasn’t the only highlight of the meeting, as the quality of the drivers and the performance of the equipment were also on display. Young Italian Niccolo Perico took a masterful victory in the Mini U10 class, while the other drivers in the Energy Corse team also showed great potential, with TM Kart engines playing an important role in the final result. The off-season was short, but that didn’t stop Energy Corse from preparing perfectly for the 2024 season, so the Italian team was immediately able to show off its skills at this event, which attracted more than 300 drivers. Under the large structure bearing the famous blue-red-white colours, there was plenty of work for the technical staff, who were able to make the right choices despite the sometimes changeable and often cold weather conditions. Niccolo Perico P1 in Mini U10 The Energy Corse chassis remains an undisputed benchmark in the Mini categories, and Italy’s Niccolo Perico proved this once again at Lonato: P3 in Qualifying, P1 after the heats with three wins out of four, P1 in the Prefinal and P1 in the Final. Well done Niccolo! Mark Loomets and Danil Verba showed themselves capable of finishing regularly in the top five in the Qualifying Heats, often very close to the leaders. Loomets held on perfectly to his place in the top 20, while Verba deserved better as his 8th place in the Prefinal showed. Australian Petta Hudson fought hard to reach the Final. Top eight for Henry Domain in OK-Junior Renowned for the quality of its training, the Energy Corse team supported six drivers in OK-Junior at Lake Garda. Henry Domain was impressive. He set the fastest lap of the race in his first heat, and went on to take 2nd and 3rd places on Saturday. Another brilliant 2nd in the Prefinal, again with the best lap in the race, but the young Brit unfortunately had a difficult start to the Final before coming back brilliantly in P8. Vladimir Ivannikov also scored a convincing result with 12th place, given that he was still in Mini a year earlier. Aloïs Girardet turned a corner during the meeting, managing to finish P4 in his final heat and P7 in the Prefinal, running on par with the fastest times. A difficult start in the Final forced him to settle for 19th place. In this category with 63 entries, Makar Savelev secured his place in the Final thanks to an excellent Prefinal. He then got off to an excellent start, but a race incident put an end to his comeback. Matvei Dergunov, a newcomer from the Mini category, made great progress during this WSK Champions Cup. Georgiy Zasov showed himself to be faster and faster and should quickly climb the rankings this season. Energy Corse win in Dubai! A major player in international karting in FIA Karting, Champions of the Future and WSK, the Energy Corse team once again demonstrated its expertise during the two 2023 rounds of the WSK Final Cup. As well as being one of the best-represented chassis in the paddock, the Italian brand’s colours shone brightly on the podiums. Double success in the Mini U10 and P2 in the X30 Junior at Lonato, followed by two further podiums at Franciacorta. Energy Corse finally placed three drivers in the top five of the Mini U10 Championship! For Energy Corse, the WSK season ended at the Final Cup as it began at the end of January at the Champions Cup: on the podium. The year 2023 was decidedly fruitful in all categories, with Tomass Stolcermanis in both OK and KZ2, Danny Carenini in IAME and numerous drivers in Mini, one of the Italian team’s specialities. Around Mick Panigada, the work of the technical staff led by Luigina Guerrini and Simone Sorio has once again borne fruit, as have the qualities of the Energy chassis. Mini U10: Energy Corse, experts in training young drivers Niccolo Perico came very close to the podium at the WSK Euro Series in Sarno at the beginning of November, and then climbed it again at the WSK Final Cup in Lonato. Leader at the end of the heats and winner of the Super Heat, the Italian led the Final from first to last lap with panache. Behind him, two other Energy Corse chassis put in an impressive performance: Greece’s Jason Kosmopoulos (Cosmosrally Kart Academy) climbed to 2nd place, while Estonia’s Mark Loomets took 4th place. The event, held at South Garda Karting from 17th to 19th November, also included two IAME Brand Cup categories. In the X30 Junior class, the Swedish AD Motorsport team represented the Energy Corse colours brilliantly: Fred Saareks finished P2, Jonathan Landstrom P5, Deven Grabko P7 and Eddie Nilsson P11. A magnificent overall result and a hard-won podium! Results confirmed at Franciacorta Near Brescia, Perico, Loomets and Kosmopoulos confirmed their omnipresence at the front in the Mini U10 class with their Energy-TM package. Estonian Mark Loomets, who took pole position and won two heats, fought hard to take 2nd place, which enabled him to finish runner-up in the WSK Final Cup just ahead of Niccolo Perico. Unfortunately, the Italian crashed out on the final lap in the Super Heat and had to be content with 13th place on the grid for the Final, which he finished with a comeback in 7th place. As for Jason Kosmopoulos, he made a convincing 10-place recovery to return to P5, also finishing P5 in the series. Brilliant performances in OK-Junior The four Energy Corse drivers competing in OK-Junior had the opportunity to be among the finalists during this WSK Final Cup. Vladimir Ivannikov made some fine comebacks in the heats at Lonato. At Franciacorta, Murilho Da Rocha and Henry Domain both finished three heats in the top 10. As for Makar Savelev, he could be proud of his performance: P11 in the times out of 85 entries, P4-P5-P7-P6 in the heats, P10 in the Super Heat and P7 in the Final. The latest international events have once again placed the Energy Corse team at the top of the hierarchy, confirming the team’s value and its ability to rise to the greatest challenges. After his victory at the Road to Wackersdorf in July in KZ2, Tomass Stolcermanis dominated the OK Final at the first round of the WSK Euro Series in Franciacorta. With just a few weeks to go to the World Championship, this result is extremely encouraging for the whole team, which can rely on top-class equipment and technical staff. The Energy Corse team approaches each new meeting with the same determination and passion, maximising the preparation of its equipment to enable its drivers to achieve their objectives. At Franciacorta, for example, the Italian brand’s chassis and the TM Kart engines prepared by GFR proved particularly competitive for the opening round of the highly-rated WSK Euro Series, with all the top drivers and teams competing in OK and OK-Junior. In OK, Tomass Stolcermanis finished all his Qualifying Heats in the top five, winning once and finishing 2nd twice. His rise to prominence continued in the Super Heat, with a 2nd place finish and the 2nd fastest lap of the race. Starting 5th in the Final, the talented Latvian driver made a superb start to the race, driving equipment that was effective from the very first laps. He remained competitive right to the end, completing all the laps at the top of the order. In ‘direct-drive’ categories such as OK or OK-Junior, in brand cups or in 125cc gearbox categories, the Energy Corse chassis and the Italian team continue to shine. Tomass Stolcermanis is the best example. As he prepares to fight for a final podium finish in the FIA Karting European Championship in OK, the young Latvian has just completed a brilliant European campaign in KZ2. Already very fast in the opening race at Zuera, Stolcermanis further improved his position at Sarno in conditions that were difficult for everyone involved in this Championship. Taking the two events together, he finished a sensational 3rd in the final European Championship standings, while Energy Corse is currently the 4th best team in the category. Very competitive at the end of June in the WSK Open Series at Sarno, Tomass Stolcermanis was once again among the main contenders in the KZ2 category in the European Championship. The official meeting kicked off on Friday with three fastest times in his group in Free Practice and Timed Qualifying. The Energy Corse driver therefore secured a place on the front row in all these heats. His team-mate Tigran Bunatyan finished 15th out of a total of 72 drivers entered. Tomass confirmed this with five perfectly controlled heats (P2, P2, P1, P3, P1!) and no less than four fastest laps. In Super Heat A, where he was even faster than all his rivals, he came close to finishing 2nd, but his manoeuvre fell just short and the Latvian unfortunately lost a place in this intense duel. 6th on the starting grid for the Final after all the points had been added up, he unfortunately only finished the first lap in 7th position. Fortunately, his speed on the track was still very high, and this time he set the 2nd fastest lap of the race. Tomass Stolcermanis came home 4th in the wake of 3rd place and was rewarded for his efforts with a 3rd-place podium finish in the FIA Karting European KZ2 Championship. “I’m very proud of the performance we achieved at this very high level of international competition. It’s rewarding to finish on the podium at such an event,” commented Mick Panigada, head of Energy Corse. “Tomass put in an incredible number of fastest laps. These events are also played out on small details. The two corners after the start were shaky and the time he lost at that point probably deprived him of a top three finish in the Final. I’d also like to congratulate young Tigran Bunatyan, who drove a faultless race. 15th in the Final was his best result at this level, given that he was still a Junior in 2022, with limited experience of KZ2. In OK, Tomass Stolcermanis is racking up a string of brilliant results and is currently 4th in the FIA Karting European Championship, just a few points behind 3rd place. In Mini, Niccolo Perico leads the Italian Championship after his victory at La Conca! On the other side of the world, podium finishes were also on offer in the Australian Championship, as well as in the Rotax Challenge in the USA. Stolcermanis and Energy Corse aim for the overall podium in Cremona The Energy Corse team showed no lack of competitiveness at the FIA Karting European Championship in Denmark. A benchmark in OK-Junior, OK and KZ-KZ2, the Italian chassis also benefited from the high potential of the engine chosen by the team led by Mick Panigada. As in previous years, the experienced technical staff led by Luigina Guerrini and Simone Sorio proved their effectiveness. Tomass Stolcermanis fought his way to the front of the timesheets in the OK Final. The young Latvian won a heat and finished 2nd in the Super Heat on the difficult Rodby circuit and his 5th place in the Final keeps him in the running for a podium place at the European Championships. All will be decided at the end of July in Cremona, Italy. Very fast Frenchman Jules Caranta was in the middle of a comeback before a race incident and a collision also eliminated the unfortunate Hungarian Martin Molnar. Energy Corse came 4th in the team rankings, ahead of several well-known factories. Thanks to an excellent Super Heat, Brazilian Murilo Rocha managed to qualify for the OK-Junior Final, where he then climbed back up to 23rd. Although he finished the first lap of his Super Heat in the top 10 and was therefore guaranteed a place in the Final, Ukraine’s Lev Krutoholov unfortunately retired. Perico wins with panache in Mini in southern Italy Already on the podium in Cremona, Niccolo Perico is continuing to make progress at the wheel of his Energy Corse chassis in the Italian Championship. On the La Conca circuit, he put in an impressive performance to climb from 12th to 2nd place in Race 1, before winning a hotly contested Race 2. The young Italian hopeful took the provisional lead in the Mini 60 ‘U10’ category. Lana Flack makes history with Energy! In the Australian Championship, the third round confirmed the results of the previous two races. On the Ipswich Kart Club circuit, west of Brisbane, Ky Burke climbed to 2nd place on the podium in the KA2 Junior class, as did Lana Flack in the Cadet class. In total, the Energy Corse Australia team scored six top 10 finishes. Two weeks later on the Newcastle circuit, north of Sydney, Lana Flack made history by triumphing in the Cadet category. It had been 26 years since a woman had won an Australian Championship event. Well done to Flack and her team! Double podium in the USA In addition to the competitiveness of the Energy Corse factory’s Rok and IAME equipment, as recently demonstrated by Danny Carenini in the X30 Senior class, the Italian brand is continuing its string of podium finishes in the Rotax Challenge. The Italian team refueled during the winter break and set off again to attack the podiums, which have already been numerous in 2023. From the Winter Cup, Martin Molnar triumphed in OK. The start of the season has been intense in 2023, with races starting on 20th January! As usual, the technical staff led by Luigina Guerrini and Simone Sorio carried out a lot of development work on the equipment to maintain the very high level of performance achieved the previous season. “The competition is fierce in international events, but every year we manage to maintain our position among the major teams capable of supporting our drivers to the podium in all categories,” commented manager Mick Panigada. The Energy chassis continues to prove itself, while the team manager never fails to put pressure on his engine builders to have optimum performance on race day. The season is still long and the Energy Corse team hopes to increase its record, as it has been able to do since the start of the season. The proof… OK: Victory and podiums at the rendezvous After being one of the revelations in 2022 for his debut in OK, Tomass Stolcermanis is still a regular contender for the podium this season. He is now ranked 3rd in the WSK Champions Cup, 5th in the WSK Super Master Series at Lonato and was twice in the top 10 at Valencia, in Champions of the Future and in the FIA Karting European Championship where the Latvian driver won two heats. Clearly, the equipment is competitive, as Martin Molnar proved by winning the Winter Cup in good style and finishing 2nd the following week in the WSK Champions Cup, not to mention other top 10s at Lonato and Sarno. The Hungarian scored points for 14th place in the Final of the European Championship in Spain after a superb comeback. 10th in Champions of the Future, Jules Caranta is one of the fastest drivers in OK, but success has been lacking for the moment, including after a technical incident in the Final of the European Championship. As for the American Vincent Ryan, he has shown significant progress since the start of the season. Dries Van Langendonck, a talented contender in OK-Junior The young Belgian is currently in the provisional 2nd position in the WSK Super Master Series thanks to his superb 3rd place at Franciacorta after a remarkable progression, from 4th at Sarno, 28 hundredths of the podium and from 9th at Lonato! Still among the best in Champions of the Future, his progress was unfortunately cut short by a retirement in the Final at the European Championship in Valencia. Too bad, because he had regularly finished in the top six in the heats. His teammates Victor Alexandru Rad (Romania), Lev Krutoholov (Ukraine) and Murilo Rocha (Brazil) took advantage of the expertise of the Energy Corse team to progress in this very tough European event. In this category, the Italian team also welcomed the young Swiss driver Georgiy Zasov to the Andrea Margutti Trophy in Lonato. Two consecutive successes for Danny Carenini in X30 Senior The Italian driver had a sensational month of March, shining in the Energy Corse colours on the top step of Lonato’s podium at the WSK Open Series and the following week at the Andrea Margutti Trophy.
